In his latest work, "Thank You for Being Late", he explains the challenge of every society today: to adapt to a simultaneous acceleration of technology, globalisation and climate change. He calls his book "a celebration of everything old and slow", saying "the faster the world gets, the more those old and slow values are going to matter".
