In an interview with FRANCE 24, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said his country had pledged $100 million to support the G5 Sahel coalition and show its commitment to fighting terrorism. He stressed that Saudi Arabia condemned the decision by US President Donald Trump to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and denied claims that there was Saudi support for the move.
