Grace Meng, the wife of Interpol's ex-chief, has not heard from her husband since he vanished six months ago on a trip to his native China. Meng claims she has been intimidated and the subject of kidnapping attempts by Chinese agents. She told FRANCE 24 that his arrest is political and denies graft claims against her husband. Under French police protection, she has written to President Emmanuel Macron urging him to raise her husband’s case when he hosts Chinese President Xi Jinping this week.
