Algerian military chief of staff Ahmed Gaid Salah’s burial is to be held on Wednesday in Algiers, two days after his death of a heart attack at age 79. Although newly-sworn in President Abdelmadjid Tebboune called for three days of mourning in honour of the country's strongman, protesters filled the streets of the capital on Tuesday.
