In an interview with FRANCE 24, Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Borrell shared his thoughts on Brexit, Venezuela and Catalonia. "Brexit is going to be detrimental for everyone", he told FRANCE 24's Tom Burges Watson. "No matter how it happens, it will be bad news for everybody". On Venezuela, he urged Nicolas Maduro to call fresh presidential elections as soon as possible. Finally, Borrell, who himself is Catalan, repeated his belief that Catalan independence would be unconstitutional.
